Welcome to the website of the one and only Petter Häggholm. (Yes, really, one and only! Google and see! It's all me.)

On this page you will find information about me, some of my artwork, and possibly, in the future, some of my writing and programs. Of course, no run-off-the-mill website is complete without a page of links to places I find interesting, and my website is indeed run off the mill, or at least off a mill. More interestingly, you may want to read my thoughts and essays on various (quite varied) subjects.

This page is valid XHTML 1.0 Strict and should look OK in any conformant browser. It may not look great unless you have a pretty bleeding-edge browser, because I use some CSS3. I recommend Firefox 3.5, or an up-to-date version of Opera; Safari and Chrome should work, too. (It may not look great even then, but I’m a programmer, not a UI expert!) I've tested it in Firefox and Opera. I’m told it looks OK in IE7, though there’s missing functionality. I’m guessing it’ll look alright in IE8…

This site was built using Django. (The previous version was built directly on top of mod_wsgi, without the aid of any framework; not because I laboured under any delusion that it was productive, but because it was educational.)

I also use jQuery, because it’s kind of cool and because DOM manipulation in raw Javascript is just painful.
